Tutorial Description:

Learn how to create a web page in this tutorial.

1. Begin with a new file, 750×600, with #515151 as your background color. Then create a new layer in the layers palette.

2. Now take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a shape similar to the one below, and fill the shape with white #FFFFFF.

3. Then head over to the layers palette and right click on layer 1, choose Blending Options, and apply this settings.

And now should it look something like this.

4. Now create a new layer and then move that layer below layer 1, like this.

5. Then press D and then X, now should you have white as your foreground color and black as your background color. Then take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a rectangle similar to the one below.

6. Now go to Filter>Render>Clouds, then go to Filter>Render>Difference Clouds and then press Ctrl+F 10 times. Now press Ctrl+U and apply this settings.

Now should it look something like this.

7. Now go back to layer 1 and right click on that layer and choose Duplicate Layer, then use the Move Tool to move that shape in position.

8. Now create a new layer, and then move that layer below layer 1 copy. And now once again take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a shape like the image below shows, and fill the rectangle with white.

9. Create a new layer, then take the Rectangular Marquee Tool and draw out a rectangle as the image below shows.

10. Now go to Edit>Stroke and set the Width to 1 px, Color Black, Location Center, Mode Normal and Opacity 50%. And now should it look something like this.

11. Create a new layer and then make a shape similar to the one below, use the same settings shown in step 3 on this layer.

Then repeat step 9 – 11 when creating the content box. And that’s it you are done! This is what I came up with.
