Burnt Paper

Tutorial Description:
Learn how to create a Burnt Paper Effect.

1. Start with a new file,250×250, with white as background.
2. Then take the Rectangular Marquee Tool (M) and draw out the size you want on your paper.
3. Then chose #C6B46D as foreground and #4F4932 as background.
4. Go to Filter>Render>Clouds
5. Then go to Filter>Noise>Add Noise, Amount 2%, Distribution Gaussian and Monochromatic.
6. Then click on the Lock Transparent Pixels in the layers palette. Look at the image below how to do that.
7. Then go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 0,5 Pixels press OK and click off Lock Transparent Pixels.
8. Then go to the layers palette and press Ctrl and click on Layer1, go to the Channels Palette and press the Save Selection as Channel tab and press Ctrl+D to deselect.
9. Then click the Alpha1 Channel. Go to Filter>Pixelate>Crystalize and set the cell size to 7. Now should it look like the image below.
10. Then press Ctrl and click the channel, go over to the layers palette and click Layer1. Now should it look like the image below.
11. Then go to Select>Inverse or press Shift+Ctrl+I. Press delete and deselect Ctrl+D.
12. Head over to the layers palette and right click on Layer1 chose Blending Options and do this settings.
And you are done!
